Jiayue Chen - INTP
I am INTP," the engineer". According to the MBTI profile, the explanation of INTP is “logical, individualistic, reserved and very curious individuals. You focus on ideas, theories and the explanation of how things work.”
I agree that I am logical, reserved and individualistic. When I attend in a group project in school, the first thing I do is not waiting for the tasks assigned by the group leader, but organize the logic stealthily. So I am really in to brain storming rather than finish each task assigned by the leader without self-thinking. Also I think this way will benefits me and makes me learn more from the project. However when it comes to work, I have no idea whether I will change in the future.
I did this MBTI test before because it was very popular on the internet, but the explanation of the result was much longer than the explanation in the textbook, I haven’t even finished reading it by that time. So I want to remind everyone who are curious about this test, please spare your time at least one hour.
I'd like to try an authentic version of MBTI test. I have to find quite a long time for taking it though.
ReplyDeleteI am indicated as the same type as you but you seem to have the opposite character. I don't care about the strictness and consistency of logic actually. I want to resolve problems give the suitable answers to difficulties and to do that I need logic. If I find logic is not useful I am happy to take intuition, imagination, superstition whatever bring us to the peaceful and sustainable goals. And also personally I like your attitude 'stealthily', we don't need too many cooks enough to spoil the broth. Shokei Takayama
ReplyDeleteI think thinking and taking action for yourself, not waiting for being told by someone what to do, is really active and important attitude.
ReplyDeleteAs well as you are ' the engineer', I also think you are considerate towards others. In the breakout room, I always thank you for leading the discussion and listening to other members.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the info, I would love to do the longer version of the MBTI and read the detailed personality descriptions!
ReplyDeleteActually, I did the test before and it only cost me 20 minutes.
ReplyDeleteSo maybe there is a shorter version and you can try it.
