Kana Shimamoto-ISTJ

According to the MBTI test results, I am "The Examiner". It is said that the Examiner is "someone who is responsible, loyal and hard working" and "someone who have an acute sense of right and wrong and work hard at preserving established norms and traditions".

I think this is partially consistent with my personality. My strong sense of justice and following rules seriously are consistent with this detail. Because of this personality, I have often held leadership positions since I was a child.

On the other hand, I am not necessarily a strict adherent to all traditions and disciplines. Traditions are important, but they can become a mere name, and some customs are not essential. When I was a senior in college, we had a tradition of conducting club meetings in person. However, college classrooms were not always available, and some students were too far away or otherwise unable to attend. Therefore, I discontinued this tradition and introduced meetings via zoom.

  1. I think that indication fits you better than you think because you say you discontinued and abandoned that tradition but I dare to say I don't think it is a tradition to have a meeting in person. Tradition has something to do with kind of principle or essence like in your case gathering all the students at meetings and having constructive and democratic discussions, which is more important in the terms of your club's spirit and policy than having them face-to-face. That is to be called tradition, I think. So you are hard-working and loyal and preserving tradition which has put much value on making concensus by every components.

  2. It is a strong point that you have sense of justice and following rules seriously. I wonder what experience or the environment have impact on your personality.
