Kanon SUNAYAMA

I was born in Yamaguchi prefecture. Since it was quite rural, I spent an active childhood, catching insects and playing in the river. Then I moved to Ibaraki prefecture and now I live in Tokyo. I live with my mother, father, and my lovely pet Qoo. He is a Japanese pond turtle.

In my free time, I like watching American movies. My favorite movies are “MCU films”, “007”, “Me Before You”, “The Da Vinci Code”, “Sully”, “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close”, and “Mary Poppins”. I also love watching some YouTube channels. “The tonight show starring Jimmy Fallon” and “The Late Late Show with James Corden” are especially my favorite. 

About my talent. Since I learned ice skating when I was young for 5 years, I’m good at figure skating. And I'm quite good at needle felting which I started last year.

My dream is to work in a foreign country where I can use English. I’ve been to Shang-Hai, Sydney, and Hawaii. I have been promising with my friend who loves “The Hobbit” to go on a trip to New Zealand, where the film was shot, for the past five years, and when this COVIT-19 situation is over, we will go to New Zealand as soon as we could.

      I used to belong to one skating club but not now. I love watching figure skating!! I enjoyed it so much during the Beijing Olympics.

    I am really pleased to hear that you are into American movies, because I love watching American dramas such as "Hawaii five-0" "Suits", and "Startup" and so on. Currently, I am watching the "Mentalist", which I'd like to recommend to you!
    I am quite surprised to see that you are good at figure skating! I cannot imagine how you feel when you jump on the ice! Actually, I love watching figure skating show, and I could enjoy some exciting competition in the Beijing Winter Olympics!
    I really envy you because Hawaii is one of the places I'd like to visit! I hope you can enjoy your travel after Covid-19 Pandemic.

      Standing on the ice at first can be scary, but the unique sound of the edge shaving the ice as it winds along is quite exciting. You should try it.
      If you have the chance to visit Hawaii, I recommend you to visit TONY ROMA'S. You can eat good Baby Back Ribs there.
      I also saw sea turtles on the beach in Hawaii. That was amazing.

    I also like the series of "007" very much. I especially loved "Skyfall" and "Casino Royale". I would like to know which ones you like in "007".

    Seems like you might be a bit of a Tom Hanks fan as he features in The Da Vinci Code, Sully & Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close. I liked him in Forrest Gump.
    I like watching romantic comedies & dystopian science fiction movies. My favourite movie of all time is '2001: A Space Odyssey.' I would really recommend you watch it. I would also recommend the heist movie, 'Heat,' and the drama 'Leaving Las Vegas.' Both of them feature great characterization and cinematography. Another such film well worth seeing is 'Face Off.'

    Thank you for listing up many titles of series and comedians. I have watched suit series, which is a story of a very handsom lawyer with a good memory and a too-confident but loved lawyer. It is surely exiting but I don't like it much. I like Jimmy. He is "awesome". I like Leterman too. But I like David.W most (his smile deserves a million dollar).

These days, Western countries have started economical sanctions on Russia and Belarus because of the Ukraine-Russia War. Is this a good way to solve these issues? First of all, do Individual countries have the right to interfere with the affairs of another country? Some people agree with this, others say no.  First, If countries get involved in the affairs of other countries, especially in the time of war, the affairs will prolong and there is a risk of making the situation even worse. As a result, civilians might suffer for a long time. Additionally, even if the affairs of one country get complicated, for example, the case of North Korea, we don’t know how to be engaged.
