Kenta Nishida -ISTP

According to the description in the textbook, I am “independent and adventurous”. I think this makes sense because I prefer working independently, not in a group, and I love finding something new. I find it enjoyable to take a trip alone, or at most with my close friends, and stay at the city I have never been to.

In addition, it says that I “have great mechanical and technical skills.” However, I cannot help but disagree with this, because I extremely hate using machines or techniques and I do not have any skills mechanically and technically. Hopefully, I'd like to be more used to machine mechanism and so on.

It also suggests that I am “adaptable and spontaneous, and thrive on new and exciting situations.” I think this is actually the case, since I have a tendency to try to change myself continuously and enjoy adapting to new environment.

Based on what I have mentioned above, I believe MBTI describes myself to some degree.

  1. First of all, I think it is unreasonable for the Type Indicator to guess people's skills based on the analytics of their characters even if those who have the skills have those characters nine out of ten, so you don't need to take much. To me changing myself and adapting to new environments is not easy though you tell me the tip for that is to enjoy the process. Shokei Takayama

  2. Although you say that you cannot agree that you have a great mechanical and technical skills now when you have to do in the company or in other occasions in the future, you will definitely show your talent!

  3. Since the MBTI test only classifies people into 16 categories, I believe that not all items are applicable to all people! Certainly, even among people classified in the same ISTP category, there will be individual differences in how much technical skill they have, and how they perceive it :)

I think your nature to have a tendency to try to change will be very suitable to your career as a stockbroker since the economy around the world is changing so fast every day.
