Shogo Moro - ISTP
According to the MBTI test, I am ISTP, "The Craftsman." Namely, I am supposed to be interested in analyzing structures of things and make use of my creativity actively and spontaneously.
It is true that I am spontaneous to some extent. I have a (little) desire to improve myself and I am prone to react to opportunities and ways that help me to develop my ability. On the other hand, unfortunately, I also have a tendency to easily get bored and give up putting my plans into practice. Nonetheless, I was able to realize some of them, so I think I am successful in improving myself on the whole.
I like analyzing things rather than creating things. I feel it difficult to come up with new ideas whenever I am asked to do so. When analyzing things, I just have to think about them again and again from different perspectives. If I know what to do, I have a good ability to concentrate one matter for a long time. Analysis matches my personality very well.
I think I have some common characters with you in that I have tried many things since I was a child, such as swimming, playing the piano, cello, and so on, and at the same time, what I have continued to do until now is only several things.
ReplyDeleteI think spontaneous attitude is important because this attitude enables us to challenge many things, which will lead us to more options, even if we stop doing many of the things which we try.
Thank you for your comment. I think so, too. I practiced swimming, an abacus or soroban, and soccer in my childhood. I didn't choose to do any of them spontaneously and found some of them boring, but these experiences have turned out to be very important. So, on top of what you said, I think even activities which were forced to do have also helped me grow up a lot.
DeleteYou are good at concentrating on one thing for a long time. That's absolutely great! I really want to gain that ability.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! I really like my ability to concentrate. However, although it cannot be helped, what is a little bit disappointing is that I cannot concentrate on something that I find uninteresting at all.
DeleteI think I also prefer to analyze than create. But you know, through analysis we also can have some new discoveries and find new things although it is not totally new :)
ReplyDeleteThat's right! I like the moment when I finally find something after careful and long thought.
