Taisei Hamaguchi
Hello. I am a second year student at the University of Tokyo and major in civil engineering. It requires you to learn not only infrastructure but also policy making or economy. I'm particularly interested in international cooperation. I hope to contribute to the world using the knowledge of my major.
As for my hobby, I like playing sports. I've been playing soccer for over ten years and I belong to a soccer society at my university. I like jogging, too. Once a week or so, I run in a park. This makes me feel refreshed.
Other than sports, I am fond of Japanese comedy. Comedians always make me laugh, so I really love them. In my spare time, I like watching the YouTube channel of my favorite comedians, Mitorizu. I love them so much that I sometimes go to see their comedy show.
I am also majoring in civil engineering! Maybe we have met at the welcoming party in September...? I didn't have many on-site classes last year. Enjoy your study at the department!
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
DeleteI like comedy too. Mitorizu is funny, but I like Sandwich Man the best. I can't wait to watch this year's M-1 Grand Prix !!
ReplyDeleteIt's very cool to play soccer for over ten years. What's your position?
ReplyDeleteIt's right side midfielder / back.
DeleteCivil engineering seems difficult, but I think you can contribute to the society a lot! I hope you can enjoy your study at our university!
ReplyDeleteI actually love jogging, too. Waking up early in the morning and running makes me feel refreshed! I also love soccer, but unfortunately, I just watch football game on TV.
I am also into comedy. I sometimes repeatedly watched 志村けん's video on Youtube! 見取り図 always makes me fun, but I'd like to say that I love 中川家! 中川家's comedy style is Kansai style, which I am fond of.
Hi Taisei, nice to hear that you want to use your profession as a civil engineer to contribute in the world. When structures are engineered well, they last much longer and have a much less negative environmental impact. In other words well-engineered structures are greener. The very best as you continue with your studies in this important area.
ReplyDeleteDavid :-)
Mitorizu means a sketch or design layout of a house and also rough plans for future in Japanese. So you are writing your Mitorizu, which is to contribute to the world in coordinate with civil engineering. That would be great.
