YUE XU-ISTJ
The result of my MBTI test shows I am a ISTJ called "The Examiner". I think I am a typical ISTJ in most ways although there are some descriptions not fitting me very well.
Just
like it said, I think I am a responsible and hard-working person and I like to
make plans before I do something. Also, I prefer to utilize specific numbers or
facts to solve problems rather than basing on intuition or uncertain knowledge.
But I don’t think I tend to obey old rules and traditions all the time. Of course, if the rules are turned out to be the best practice to get things done, I will choose to follow it and hope everyone in the organization will follow the steps stipulated in manual or something so things won’t be in chaos.
But if those
rules make organizations inefficient or still have room for improvement, I would
take initiatives to change the rules and optimize the process through kaizen and PDCA cycle just like the great
company TOYOTA do every minute.
Nice to know more about you, it is really impressive that you uses TOYOTA as an example to make us know what you will do when you are facing terrible rules. Also you shows your proficiency in your major. It will be better if you are willing to explain what PDCA cycle is to us.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. If old rules and traditions are not suitable for nowadays's situation or not the best practice, we should change them.
ReplyDeleteSame as Jiayue, I would like you to explain what the PDCA cycle is.
I was classified as The Examiner like you, and I thought that my personality and yours were quite similar in several aspects. It's interesting how our upbringings and specialties are so different, yet we share similar tendencies in our thinking!
